UPCOMING EVENTS
Oct 17: An Evening with Frank Morgan (sold out)
Pollak’s French Influence – A Tasting of Virginia and French Wines
Join us on October 17, 6-8pm for an evening exploring the conversation between Virginia wine and its Old World inspiration.
As one of Virginia wine’s most respected voices, Frank Morgan will guide us through a comparative tasting of two Pollak wine and two French wines as we explore the influences, traditions, and distinctive sense of place that connect these two wine worlds. With a bonus blind tasting of a third Pollak wine.
Our winemaking philosophy is deeply influenced by the traditions of French viticulture, shaped in part by our Head Winemaker Benoit Pineau’s upbringing and training in France. But while the inspiration may be Old World, the wines tell the unmistakable story of Virginia.

Nov 13: An Evening with Dave McIntyre
Join us on Friday, November 13, 6-8pm for an evening of conversation with Wine Journalist Dave McIntyre, whose writing has helped bring attention to the people and places shaping wine near and far.
After more than 16 years as the wine columnist for The Washington Post, McIntyre is now the author of Dave McIntyre’s WineLine on Substack, and Associate Wine Editor and columnist at The SOMM Journal, where he continues to explore the people, places and stories behind the wines we drink.
With his firsthand perspective on the evolution of Virginia wine, Dave will share his thoughts on how far the industry has come, the challenges it continues to face, and the opportunities that lie ahead.
